Belgian owner Leentje
Van den Eede (Leen for short!) studied in Aalsmeer,
the Netherlands and at the New York Botanical Gardens,
USA.
She then trained with top Manhattan florists Floralia
Decorators at the legendary Waldorf Astoria Hotel.
In New York, she also worked at Takashimaya on 5th
Avenue, Plaza Florist on Park Avenue and Vert-de-gris.
Leen moved back to the UK in 2007 and settled in East
Anglia. She took over an established florists in the
Cambridgeshire village of Linton, which she renamed
'The Flower Boutique'.
Leen's mix of continental and English influences,
combined with a touch of New York avant-garde, is
a truly unique style you won’t find on every
high street.
